Muroi Kouichi was a high school student with high aspirations to play in his first baseball tournament, but his short life had been plagued by the constant bullying from the star player Hanagasa Mamoru who enjoyed tormenting him with his baseball bat, and it became so bad that it eventually lead to his death or even suicide.
